Books on Naval and Marine Corps Air Stations of World War II

My specialty is Army Air Forces and U.S. Air Force installations. But over the years, bases have changed hands between branches of the armed forces. So, I sometimes need information on Naval or Marine Corps airfields, especially from the W.W.II era. Mel Shettle has written a series of books that fill this niche in my library.
Mel's books contain concise histories of the airfields, along with excellent vintage aerial photos. These books would be worth the price just for the photos alone, even if you did not need the historical text!
I won't go into great detail here since Mel has a web site already established. It will give you an overview of the books, along with ordering information. Mel and I have corresponded for several years, and I am always pestering him to publish another volume! I have a standing order for three copies of any new book he writes (one for me, and two to give as gifts).
