Uploads: Reference Documents

My goal here is to share interesting documents that are not widely available on the web. In a few cases I acquired the document files from the Air Force Historical Research Agency (AFHRA), but I scanned most of these documents myself from photocopies I acquired from AFHRA, National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC), Air University Library (AUL), Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, or other researchers. These are U.S. Government documents with no copyright restrictions.

USAF Installations Characteristics Reports (AF Form 1192)

I purchased this set of files from AFHRA in 2012 for $510. The AF Form 1192 was used by base and command real property offices to document changes and report them to HQ USAF. These are large files, some more than 600 MB, each containing one reel of microfilm.
